HH Nawab Mohammed Salabatkhan Babi
This humble and most generous and out of the ordinary personality is the head of the Babi clan and of the Balasinor family. He is the 9th Nawab of Balasinor and his Raj Tilak was performed at the very young age of 11months as his late father Nawab Jamiatkhanji Babi passed away. Nawab Saheb ruled Balasinor in infancy under a Regency Council till merger with the Indian Union. Nawab Saheb also known as “Sarkar Bapu” is an avid sportsman and keen cricketer. He still runs the Babi Cricket Club and is actively involved in the social setup this quaint town. You will find interacting with him quite different!

HH Begum Farhat Sultana is the celebrated cooking genius of the family. She is a connoisseur of culinary delights! Each dish of this household is carefully supervised by her. Nawabzadi Aaliya Sultana Babi – affectionately called the “the Dinosaur Princess” or “Doctor Dinosaur”, the affable and vivacious media savvy princess is the backbone of the Raiyoli Dinosaur Fossil Excavation site and she will be your thorough guide to this prehistoric site during your stay here. For her the preservation and well being of the Dinosaur fossils is utmost important. She undeterred held the fort at the Garden Palace when her brother Nawabzada Salauddin was away and provided the much needed boost to the Garden Palace through her efforts for the Dinosaur fossils!
Dulhan Begum Zeba Sultan khan
Dulhan Begum Zeba Sultan khan, the recent addition to the family of Balasinor, is the wife of Nawabzada Salauddin and is his support in the running of the day to day activities of the Palace and ensures the upkeep of the Palace rooms and will assist Begum Saheba in ensuring the continuity of the Balasinori Cuisine.
